According to a report from Germany, Apple is set to release a new iPad Pro model this year featuring three significant upgrades: an OLED display, an updated Magic Keyboard, and the latest M3 chip.
The upcoming iPad Pro models will debut with OLED screens, marking a departure from the LCD and mini-LED displays found in previous iterations. This transition promises improved contrast and deeper black levels. Additionally, reports indicate significant enhancements for the iPad Air 6, including a larger 12.9-inch screen compared to the 10.9-inch display featured in the iPad Air 2022. Furthermore, there’s speculation that the 12.9-inch iPad Pro could undergo a slight increase to achieve a screen size of 13 inches.
In addition to the design and screen upgrades, the new iPad Pro models are anticipated to feature Apple’s latest in-house M3 chip. Serving as the next generation of Apple’s custom silicon for both Macs and iPads, the M3 chip is poised to deliver enhanced battery life, expanded Neural Engine capabilities, and accelerated CPU and GPU performance.
In addition to the anticipated display enhancements, the upcoming iPads are expected to introduce novel features previously unavailable in the iPad lineup.
