This car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 3.8 seconds. In India, it can compete with cars like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia Ev6. It is likely to be offered in two battery sizes, the larger 61.4 kWh and the larger 82.5 kWh.
Seal EV has a length of 4800 mm, width of 1875 mm, and height of 1460 mm. Its exterior design features crystal LED headlamps with boomerang-shaped LED DRLs and LED taillights. It offers a claimed range of 570 km (WLTP cycle) on a single charge.

It has a giant rotatable screen a sporty steering wheel, and a crystal-looking gear shifter. Overall, the interior look is nice and modern. The steering wheel of the Seal has three spokes and a flat bottom. Its shape looks like a fishtail with a premium look with soft-touch materials. The dashboard is highlighted by a 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen infotainment system, which was also offered in the Atto 3. Its digital driver display is 10.25 inches. The air vents of the Seal have a wavy pattern and are decorated with a delicate blue trim.

The BYD Seal EV is expected to feature a single variant equipped with an 82.5kWh battery pack, delivering an impressive claimed range of 570km (WLTP Cycle) on a single charge. The sedan will be equipped with a rear axle-mounted motor that generates 230bhp and 360Nm of peak torque and accelerates from 0 to 100 mph in under 6 seconds. The battery can be charged at speeds of up to 150kW, taking just 37 minutes to charge from 10-80 percent. However, using a regular 11kW AC charger, it takes 8.6 hours to charge from 0-100 percent.

The BYD Seal EV price is expected to range between ₹55 lakh – ₹60 lakhs depending on the selected variant which is of two variants single, and top-spec variant, It is mostly expected to be launched on 5 March 2024. It is rumored that the BYD Seal EV is available in four distinct exterior color choices cosmos Black, Aurora White, Atlantis Grey, and Arctic Blue.
