The New Budget-Friendly 5G Phone By Google, Google Pixel 8a, The Google Pixel 8a is poised for a global launch shortly, with all its features recently leaked online. This budget-friendly smartphone from Google is expected to receive significant upgrades compared to last year’s Pixel 7a. Additionally, it will debut with the Android 15 operating system.

All the features of the Google Pixel 8a have been revealed by Android Authority. According to the website, this Google phone will sport a 6.1-inch FHD+ display capable of supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and reaching a peak brightness of up to 1,400 nits. In comparison, last year’s Pixel 7a also featured a 6.1-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. Regarding the camera specifications of the Pixel 8a, Google has opted not to upgrade its camera system. The phone will maintain a dual-camera setup, featuring a 64MP Sony IMX787 main camera and a 13MP ultra-wide camera. Additionally, a 13MP front-facing camera will be provided for selfies and video calls. This identical camera setup is also present in the Pixel 7a.

Discussing the processor, the Pixel 8a will debut with the Google Tensor G3, a chipset previously featured in the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro models. This smartphone will also incorporate AI capabilities, offering features such as Circle To Search and AI Caption. Similar to the Pixel 7a, this Google device is expected to feature a 4,300mAh battery with USB Type-C fast charging support. Additionally, the phone may offer 128GB of internal storage paired with 8GB of RAM.
