However, for the Thar e, Mahindra is expected to opt for a more potent electric motor sourced from Volkswagen. The INGLO platform is said to deliver a power output of up to 250 kW for all-wheel drive configurations. However, specific details regarding the driving range, power output, and other specifications of the Thar Electric have not yet been disclosed.
The company states that the upcoming Mahindra Thar Electric will be constructed on the new INGLO P1 platform, promising enhanced ground clearance and top-notch off-roading capabilities for the SUV. It’s worth noting that INGLO stands for “IN” (India) and “GLO” (Global).
