Redefining Compact Elegance, New Honda Amaze, Honda Cars India is gearing up to penetrate the fiercely competitive mid-size SUV segment with the launch of the Elevate in the coming months. Additionally, the automaker plans to introduce a generational overhaul for the Amaze compact sedan in 2024. While official specifications for the 2024 Honda Amaze have yet to be disclosed, substantial changes are anticipated in terms of design, interior features, and platform. According to reports, the revamped sedan will likely be constructed on a modified iteration of the existing architecture, which aligns with the platform designated for the Honda Elevate SUV.

The design and aesthetics of the upcoming Amaze may draw inspiration from the newly released City sedan and the global-spec Accord. Reflecting the growing demand for Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technology, Honda intends to incorporate its Honda Sensing Suite into all forthcoming models, including the third-generation Amaze. This suite encompasses a range of advanced safety and driver-assistance features, such as Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keep Assist, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Automatic High Beam Assist.

Furthermore, the anticipated 2024 Honda Amaze is expected to feature a redesigned interior layout, complemented by a standalone touchscreen infotainment system offering seamless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. While retaining key features from its predecessor, such as automatic climate control, cruise control, an engine start/stop button, tilt-adjustable steering, and speed-sensing auto door lock function, the new model is poised to introduce modern amenities for enhanced convenience and comfort. Among these are electrically adjustable and foldable outer rearview mirrors (ORVMs), underscoring the commitment to providing a refined driving experience.

The anticipated 2024 Honda Amaze is expected to be equipped with the familiar 1.2-liter, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a maximum power output of 90 horsepower and peak torque of 110 Newton-meters. The sedan will offer the choice between a 5-speed manual transmission and a CVT automatic gearbox. Notably, there will be no diesel engine variant available for this model.
Price and Variants Of Honda Amaze
The prices of the Amaze compact sedan may experience a slight rise with the introduction of the new generation. The current generation model offers 5 variants, including 2 automatic options, priced between approximately $9,300 to $12,800 (ex-showroom).
The on-road price of the Honda Amaze E diesel manual variant is approximately $13,700. Meanwhile, the on-road price of the Honda Amaze VX CVT automatic petrol variant is around $14,000. For the Honda Amaze S diesel manual variant, the on-road price stands at roughly $14,500. Additionally, the on-road price of the top-selling variant, the Honda Amaze VX Diesel Manual, amounts to about $17,000. Finally, the on-road price of the top model, Honda Amaze VX CVT Diesel Automatic, is approximately $18,500.
It is highly expected that the Honda Amaze will be launched in mid-2024 or the beginning of 2025. The officials have not announced the launch date but as per the rumor and previous database, we can assume that the new and Luxurious Honda Amaze will be launched by 2024 or mid-2024.
